Dancing Romania

Next part of my holidays I spent on youth exchange in Timișoara, Romania. With Marcel, we went to this beautiful country to participate in almost 2 weeks dance workshops!

Dance your way was an Erasmus+ project. This one was really amazing, perfect for summer! Not only could we learn some dances, we also visit many places in Timișoara.

The schedule was quite busy, so we didn't have time to get bored. On mornings there were dancing classes, then a break for lunch and siesta and after that - afternoon activities like sightseeing the city, workshops about healthy food or one more time dancing classes. Every evening there was a theme party. Actually, each nationality had their own evening. It was amazing ! We could learn something interesting about other countries, what's more, there was a lot of food from different part of the world... Yummy ! :)

I was so happy for polish evening, cause we could teach others one of polish national dance - polonez. It was really nice when almost every participants were dancing. Of course, there was many polish meals, snacks and drinks to taste.

Actually, there were plenty of people there who were doing other projects. The international society was good opportunity to talk about other cultures, learn languages or just making new friends.

The one thing which was really annoying was the weather. It was so hot that you could even imaging (at least some of you who come from northern countries). Anyway, the temperature was about 43 degree almost all day long, so we had to take a lot of breaks to rest. The hotness was enormous so once we spent all day on swimming pool ^^ that's the really holiday ! ^^

At the end of the project we prepared a short flash mob: we danced all what we've learnt during the workshops. It was really cool! Everybody was having great fun!

It was such a wonderful adventure! We had great fun, saw many places, made new friends... I'll never forget this trip. Right now we have new friends all over the world and great memories remember! ^^
